Too far behind to catch up!

So I have been really bad about blogging for the past year! A lot has gone on, too much to even attempt to catch up on! So I will probably just post a few recent pics to catch up-to-date! Breanna has turned the magical age of 3 (well now she is actually 3 and 1/2!). She has quite the personality and is very much the "girly" girl. Some of her favorites at this time include:
Favorite foods: Hotdogs, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, ice cream
Favorite movie: Princess and the Frog
Favorite singer: Hannah Montana (or anyone from Disney)
Favorite animals/insects: Butterfly's, horses, monkeys
Favorite toys: "Maggie" (Biddie baby doll), coloring books, books, doll house, Leapster, and Mom's I touch.
Favorite things to do: Dance, listen to music, play outside, watch Disney channel, and play on Mom's I touch/computer.

Parker's 2nd Birthday

Bre and London...what sweet girls!

What a cool guy!

Bubble time!

Blowing out the candles! Happy Birthday Parker!

While we were in Missouri visiting Grandma and Papa, my best friend's little boy, Parker, had his 2nd birthday party. We were so excited we got to join in the festivities! We don't get to see them often, so when we do, we make the most of it! Bre and Parker LOVE each other!

Sesame Street Live!

"Lady Bug Picnic"

What a great show!

Daddy, Bre, and Elmo!

Elmo's garden

We took Bre to see Elmo and Sesame Street Live in February. This was her first big show, we her first big event like this. We were really excited to see how she would do. We didn't tell her where we were going until we got there. After we got inside and told her what we were doing her first words were, "Elmo's in there?" She just kept repeating that over and over until the show started. She was mesmerized for the entire first half of the show. By intermission, she warmed up and was dancing in front of her seat. She had a blast! Money well spent!!

Birthday Party Pictures

Here are some pictures from Bre's weekend of Birthday parties! Saturday was her official birthday party with family and friends. However, my parents could not leave from Missouri until that morning, so they did not arrive until after the party was over. That just meant that Breanna got to have another "mini" birthday party with by parents on her actual birthday (Sunday).

It was a Birthday "Fiesta" (Dora the Explorer theme).

Crawling through tunnels and having soooo much fun!

Blowing out the candle on her cupcake.

What a delicious cupcake!

And then she was 2....

Wow, Breanna turned 2 last month! I know this post is way late (almost a month), but things have been busy every weekend since her birthday. I can't believe my little girl turned 2-years-old already! She is getting so big so fast. I'm afraid that if I blink my eyes to fast, she will be 18 and going off to college. She has changed so much over the past year. She is very, no let me emphasize that, VERY independent!!! She has such a personality, and as Jason, from our small group at church says, she is "such a girly girl!" She has to have her hair fixed everyday with a "pretty" (bow, ribbon, barrette, etc..) put in it. She loves cute clothes and often says, "Oooh, that's cute mommy." She also will compliment Max and I on our clothes if she likes them by says, "I like your shoes, Daddy," or, "I like your shirt, Mommy." She is very into playing kitchen, playing house, playing with her dolls, and playing just about anything outside (especially on her swing set).
Breanna is so smart. She can almost count to 10 on her own, but she usually skips #4 and she has started learning her ABC's. Her daycare provider Ms. T is wonderful! She works with her on learning some many things. Ms. T says that she catches on pretty quickly and is a fast learner. She is completely potty trained (but still wears a pull-up at night), although we have an accident every so often, but they are very rare. I think the only "baby" thing left is the crib, but we aren't ready to get rid of that just yet. She has only crawled out of her bed one time, and none since (knock on wood). Max and I both agree that it isn't time to transition to the toddler bed just yet.

Here is a list of some of her favorite things at this time:
Food: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Book: "What Would You Do If a Kangaroo"
Song: "Wheels on the Bus," "ABC's"
Movie: "Little Mermaid" and "Madagascar"
Show: "Barney"
Toys: Babies and accessories, Dora doll, Kitchen, Swing set, Tricycle

At her 2-year check up she was still in 90th percentile for both height and weight. She weighed 33lbs and was 35.5 inches tall. I wouldn't be surprised if she was actually a little taller than that because she didn't want to stand up for the nurse when he was trying to measure her.

Breanna and Parker

My best friend Mandy has a little boy that is about 6 weeks younger than Bre. His name is Parker. Bre and Parker LOVE each other! They have only actually been around each other a hand full of times, but they always have a great time together! Even though they have only seen each other a few times, Mandy and I make sure that they remember each other very well. We talk to them about each other often, show them pictures of each other, and even have them talk to each other on the phone! Parker even sent Breanna a Valentine this year! Mandy and I are convinced that they are destined to be together one day when they are all grown up (even though Bre will probably be a foot taller than Parker, unless Parker gets his Uncle Mark's genes!). Anyway, the last time they were together at Christmas, we got some cute pics of them and the rest of our families:

"Their first kiss." Don't ask me how they came up with this, I'm just glad I caught it on camera!

London Oliva, Parker's little sister. Isn't she adorable!

Mandy and I with Parker and Bre. Parker was not excited about getting his picture taken!

Christmas 2008

Here are some pictures from the Christmas season. It was a hectic time, but we loved every minute of it! We love spending the holidays with our family! Max and I believe that Christmas is a time to spend with family and loved ones. It is our favorite holiday! Christmas morning we woke up and spent the morning, just the three of us here at home. We loved seeing the look of surprise on Bre's face as she woke up to all the presents under the tree. The look on her face was truely one of amazement! Later that day, all of Max's immediate family came over to our house. We had wonderful afternoon and evening with them all. The next morning we got up bright and early and headed for Missouri to spend some much needed time with my family. We were in Missouri for 5 days and I LOVED every minute of it! Boy to I miss it there!!!
