5 Months Old

Breanna turned 5 months old on Monday (June 18th)! I can hardly believe it. The time is flying by so fast. I'm afraid if I blink, her baby days will all be over! Before I know it she is going to be all grown up. She is getting to be such a big girl! We took Bre to the doctor for her 4 month well-baby check-up on June 11th. She weighed 17 lbs 0 oz (90%) and was 27 in long (100%)! She has officially doubled her birth weight and grown over 6 inches. I don't know if I can keep up with how fast she is growing!! The doctor gave us the go ahead to start giving Bre baby food, so we started with carrots. We have now tried carrots, sweet potatoes, applesauce, prunes, and bananas. Bre loves sweet potatoes; carrots, bananas and applesauce are ok; and she definitely doesn't care for prunes! Mommy and daddy aren't too sure they like the new dirty diapers (yuck), but we will make it through! Bre's personality is developing more and more each day. She is such a sweet baby. She so easy going and loves to laugh! Nana Linda is convinced she is going to be a soccer player because her legs are so strong and she loves to kick things with her feet.
